Two hot girls. Lost ring. Happy ending!

Was hired to find a lost engagement ring. I found it in about 15 minutes. They had searched for 2 days with a metal detector. I used a Whites M6. I knew it was going to read low being 14 K white gold. It hit at +6. Full video will be on the tube as soon as my new software gets here. But...

Wireless Headphone set up for your Garrett and Whites :super:

I have two sets of these Radio Shack 33-1253 headphones. RS doesn't carry them anymore. I have one set that I'm keeping that is 3 years old. This one is about a year old and is the nicer looking of the two. I bought it because RS said they were discontinuing them. So I bought it for a back...

All rifle experts look at this

What is this? Is it a blank? It's been fired but it's rounded in where the projectile would go. I dug two of these today.

    Silicone o-rings:detecting: revisted.

Some of you may have read my previous post about me buying silicone o-rings for the ATpro. I had bought 7/16 OD o-rings the first time. They fit real tight on the connectors and let them slip right in with no issues. But then I thought that Garrett may have meant 7/16 ID o-rings? So I...

ATpro with new red silicone o-rings does the trick!

Just got my pack of 100 red silicone o-rings. I slipped one on and the fit is much better. It doesn't want to roll out and get sheared off. Connector slides right in. Fit's better and feels better. They are 7/16 od x 1/16 diameter. I added this note: Garrett told me the size to buy. I...

:detecting: Here is what I found to be the best, cheapest and easiest detector stand for the ATpro, Ace 150,250 and 350. :detecting:

By the time I got my custom stands wide enough to keep the machine from falling over they were simply too big. Yes, we can add an inch or two and make it more stable but they still will fall over. So here is my solution and it works every time. Once I paint it black it will look even better...

ATpro and Ace stand quandary.

A lot of you know I've been working on a nice detector stand for the ATpro, Ace 150,250 and 350. The real problem is getting a stand wide enough to keep the machine from falling over even on uneven ground. Once you get the stand that wide it hits you in the leg. Then if you make or buy a...

Sand in my video camera! I need a waterproof, dustproof cheap small camera.....

I think I just trashed my Ativa camera. I took it over from my Son because he uses his phone for pics and vids. So I started using it for detecting vids. It's been doing good and Windows Movie Maker likes it too. Unlike my real nice JVC Everio that WMM hates because it records in .mov...

Since the ATpro came out the manufacturers have been busy trying to make something to compete. This is the only one that will come close but it's stil

:detecting: ATpro indirectly finds a white gold wedding ring!

OK. Now everyone gets to see just how ugly I am. I joined Theringfinders.com about 2 months ago. So part of the deal was to make videos of ring and jewelry finds. Chris Turner started the site and directory of finders. He runs a nice site. We all love to help people. We all love...

Another good reason to have an ATpro

Filled my huge mug with coffee yesterday. I sat it up on a can of paint in between my front seats of my work truck. The next thing I know is it's fallen over and running over the buttons on my ATpro! For a moment I was in a panic. But of course she fired right up. It may seem trivial but...

Like some of you I found a huge problem with the ATpro. :argue:

Decided to try and finish up the outfield of a baseball park today. I covered about half of it last fall with a 250. I only covered about half of what was left today. This time I had the ATpro and it was cranked wide open. I dug a ton of coins at 8+ inches. So here is the problem - As...

:detecting: For those that can't seem to make the iron audio work for them .:detecting:

That means your probably using it wrong. I know in the beginning I ran it wrong myself. So here it is in layman's terms. If your running all metal and suspect a bottle cap, nail etc. Then you activate the iron audio - it's not going to work right. Why? Because in all metal your iron disc...

I guess I've been lucky for 26 years of recovering targets. But.....

I don't heal up as fast now that I'm 50. Yesterday while digging out a 10 inch pull tab I sliced the end of my finger. I've pulled a lot of sharp crap out of the ground with little nicks and cuts from time to time. I never liked using gloves but I guess I may have to start?
