You are getting a good clean ground balance ,trigger pulled reading of 13-0 zero best then pump till quiet.Try holding it in air and crank it up to 15. IF Erratic and cant touch it coil might be bad.     Try the smallest coil you have for the EMI and see if that helps along with turning down the Sens and Disc. Yazoo

    Change your recovery speed to match your hunting area.The lower the number the faster and the higher the number the faster thus deeper . Lower # usually for trashy areas . Most play in the range of 55 to 80. then go from there. Yazoo

    Some of it has to do with the type of soil you hunt. Heavily mineralized soil likes a DD better than a concentric.Thus some areas a 5.3 works best in trash in lower mineralized, other areas both soils may work great with the 4X6 shooter. Not as deep but great separation in very heavy trash...

    I believe with what you are asking it is yes. I have mine set up in blocks of tones and Iron tone at 5 and hunt fields in stereo M M With good luck. I still dig iron mainly because I just gotta know out in the field. Yazoo
