    It's been a while.. a couple form today.

    First is the launch pad for the shuttle and then a Spoonbill. I had to sell my long lens and don't have much reach now but hope to get a 4 or 500mm by mid summer.. Hope you like them.

    Today wasn't good lighting so consider that when looking.. The pigs are wild and I was lucky to see them. They were quite a distance away so this is a major corp..

    A few from a couple days ago

    Finally sold my Sigma lens and for a good price... Will be saving my money for a new old lens this fall. I have decided to buy a Nikkor 500 mm f/4 ais or p lens. A couple just sold on the big bay for around 2300.00 so it's going to take a while. This summers metal detecting should take care of...

    Nature Walk

    Took a walk in the woods yesterday and heard this noise. Looked up and a snake had fallen from a taller tree into another one. was supprised to see this.. then my first Robin of the fall season. The robin is a major crop since I only had my 80-200 lens with me.

    Short trip

    Went out today to test a lens I'm going to sell. Sigma 400mm f/5.6 D APO macro.... these were taken just to see how the lens would do...Hard to hold steady but it passed ok I think.

    You can see why they call this bird the Painted Bunting... his feathers look like brush marks in areas..
