    Ok, got out early and found more stuff. No sliver coins yet but I did find a 1956 wheatie and a 1944s. An earring and a slver chain. $dollar coins=(1) quarters====(15) dimes======(22) nickle======(1) pennies=====(20) $7.20 Same park just under (3) more hours today. I'm now over $50 Dollars.

    NYC park hunt.....

    Today while I was hunting Astoria park, queens NY. I have the pleasure of having a parks dept supervisor stop by. He asked if I had my permit...we spoke for a few and then he was on his way...No issue what so ever. Nice , Having a friendly attitude and talking does help at times.

    I made it out early around 6:30. and got home at about 12:45. I had to take a few breaks. Getting down to dig and hunting are taking a strain on me this year.I am really out of shape...I dug just 1 mood ring....but no silver or gold...today though I started digging with settings at 40...

    got some velcro and ???

    I took some velcro and a little epoxy and made it so they would not spin....some is to hold the wire and some is so the halves/actully the poles break down to 3 but I only seperate from the upper arm and the rest of the rods. so I can make it fit across my handle bars...     Have you found, and what was the reading????

    I am asking about all types of gold items here.Looking for their readings and a correlation of size. Men's wedding band ? woman's wedding band? small class type ring? Large class type ring? Heavy gold chain ? fine gold chain over 8"? fine bracelet 6"? gold stud earring?

    Battery life

    I've made 7 hunts and my battery is down to just 1 bar. The finds a getting a little thinner so I cannot say that I will continue to make the same amount on a battery but so far I've found 38.50 plus 2 silver items.

    Just a thought...

    If the detector is computer controlled, does that mean the tones and frequencey for output is software controlled ? Just wondering if that means the tones could be changed for those whom have hearing losses in certian frequencies?

    Sterling silver ring reading....

    I decided try the ring I found earlier this year from T and co. It's a sterling silver mesh ring. pretty heavy but it's reading is 44/45/46 and moves alot...but this is indoors.
