    Back at it again today.

Finished up work a little early today so I went back to work the area I was in yesterday. Today I used the AT Gold with the 5 X 8 coil and found a few more keepers hiding in the trash. HH Butch NY

Out digging with the Minelab boys today.

I caught up to Park Pirate and Ed (upstate) this morning at one of our hunted out parks. I started a little slow only finding the lion ring and cross, relocated to a different area of the park and ended the day with a few old coins. HH Butch NY.

    Last couple hunts.

I scored the ring the other day on my first water hunt of the year, with the AT Pro. The rest of the coins came today at a local park with the AT Gold. The Barber dime looks like it was in a fire, it's in real bad shape the front of the coin was almost unidentifiable. HH Butch NY

Finally got out a little today.

I haven't been out in a few weeks, so it was real nice to take the day and do nothing but DIG.. The AT Gold was in the zone and running hot today. HH Butch NY

    Sundays finds

I met up with park pirate and Ed (upstate) this morning at the park. All I could come up with was a wheat penny and a school bus token, just couldn't get a good signal to save my life. Stopped for a coffee/lunch break and relocated to a different park and had a little better luck with the 1880...

    Saturday morning finds.

Headed back to the park this morning, finally broke my silver slump and got lucky with a few Indians as well. I did get three Indians but one was too far gone to get a good picture. HH Butch NY

A few finds from the park.

Actually the roached Indian head came from a hunt with a fellow forum member, dalpal (John) We met up on Wednesday afternoon and hunted a cool foundation site. Everything else was found at the park I stopped by after work for a couple hours yesterday. Someday one of those diamonds is going to be...

A little GOLD with the AT Gold

Plus a nasty, bent, crusty, 1889 Indian, a 1928 buffalo and a cool little car probably an old cracker jack toy, from back when it was ok to give the kids real small lead toys. Ah the good old days.

    Sundays finds.

Had a little luck today, a few wheats two Indians, one was corroded pretty bad couldn't get a good picture, what looks to be a 1934 Italian coin of some sort and a cool little silver ring. HH Butch NY

    A couple keepers today.

I met up with the Minelab boys this morning, park pirate & Ed (Upstate) to do a little hunting through the trash. No shine for me today but I did manage a couple roached Indians 1892 & 1866 and a dateless toasted buffalo nickel, the pics aren't that great. HH Butch NY

Way to nice to work today. :detecting:

Couldn't let a little thing like work get in the way of detecting on such a beautiful day, so me and my hunting / work partner (dgravedigger) took a little road trip to a cool park about an hour and half to the south of us. I scored these plus about a half dozen wheat's and two broken rings...

    Found a couple keepers today.

Went out with a couple forum members today, dgravedigger (Mark) and dalpal (John) caught up to us later in the afternoon. Had a great day and made some cool finds. Doesn't get any better than that. HH Butch NY

Well at least the fish were biting today..

Not much in the way of coins but I did score this cool little silver fish charm. It's amazing the small things this AT Gold will find. On another note I would like to give a big congrats to a hunting buddy of mine Ed (Upstate NY) for finding a 1905 21/2 dollar gold coin this morning. You can see...

Took the AT Gold for a walk around the park this afternoon.

What a beautiful day 65 and sunny. I found the merc along with a wheatie penny in the same hole at about 6". Also found a 10kt gf small ring, to bad it was plated, and two buffalo nickels, too roached to get a good picture. All in all a great day.

Mild afternoon today so I headed out to a local park and had a little luck. HH Butch NY

    A few Saturday finds.

It was a nice mild day today and the ground was soft. I ended up with two 1881 Indian head pennies an 1880 Indian and an 1861 British half penny. They were all pretty roached, one of the 1881 Indians was too far gone to get a decent picture. HH Butch NY

Jan 9th and still digging. :detecting:

This is some strange weather for Upstate NY. I got out again today with findmall member dgravedigger, we hit a site we've found cool stuff in the past. I found a few wheats and a 1942s Washington quarter. Mark scored a nice 1892 Barber quarter and a handful of wheat pennies. Temps, in the mid...

    Great start to 2012 :detecting:

Hard to believe, out digging on January 1st in upstate NY. I met up with dutchtoga and hit an old grove site today. These are my finds for the day, I also dug a bunch of wheat pennies and a real roached 1890 Indian head penny. Dutch had a great day as well with a couple silver quarters and a...
