    A few Friday afternoon finds.

Stopped by a park on the way home from work to see if the ground was still soft enough to dig because its been real cold the past few nights. The ground was real stiff but you could still get through it. I was able to manage a few buffalo nickels and a couple wheat pennies. Looks like this may...

Great day of digging today, but unfortunately,,,

the only finds in decent enough shape to photograph were the two 1873 Indian head pennies. Also found a civil war token, a roached 1874 Indian, and a dateless shield nickel. I tried to get a picture of the civil war token, hope you can see some of the detail. HH Butch NY

    Thursday finds.

dgravedigger (Mark) and I decided to blow off work today and do a little digging before we freeze up solid. Had some luck in a patch of woods where we've found cool stuff in the past. We were both using the AT gold. What an awesome machine in the trash. Mark found the 1881, 1883 and 1892 Indian...

Weekend Digs with the AT Gold

That At Gold is one hot machine. I hacked up one of the 1864 Indians pretty good and the shield nickel was found by my hunting buddy and forum member dgravedigger. We were hunting in what seemed like a blanket of iron. It's amazing how these machines could even function no less find coins. HH...

First time out with the AT Gold = 172? Spanish silver :jump:

Don't let anyone tell you the AT Gold isn't hot on coins. I was very impressed. I haven't been out at all in a few weeks due to a combination of bad weather and a very busy work schedule. I hit a few spots in the woods today which have produced some good coins in the past. Decided o take the AT...

    A few weekend finds.

Got out a little this weekend with dgravedigger (Mark) and had a bit of luck. The coin next to the barber dime looks to be a half dime, it's extremely worn so I can't tell for sure if its a seated or bust. Also not sure what the USM stands for on the horse and buggy but man that thing is small...

Well the story goes dgravedigger (Mark) and myself had to work today, were business partners as well as hunting partners. The ATP was running HOT this morning :hot:

Got out for a couple hours this morning to a park I haven't been to since last year, (with a different machine) I guess I left alot behind. I finally dug a large cent in pretty decent shape and put a nice scratch in it :ranting: I almost aborted the dig because it was so hung up in the tree...
