A couple keepers after work today.

I stopped by a small park I haven't hunted with the ATP yet. I've hunted it before with another brand detector but never did very well there, so it wasn't very high on my list of places to go. I guess I'll have to move it up on my list and spend a little more time there. The war nickel is pretty...

Finally got a chance to get out for a bit today.

Hi all, it's been a couple weeks since I've had a chance to get out, working entirely too much. the Indians are pretty roached but that is typical for the park I was hunting. The ring is 925 and the little square locket is gold, well looks like gold, I'll have to get it tested. Enjoy. HH Butch NY

    A couple more Indians today.

I met up with Ed (Upstate NY) and Tony (park pirate) for some hunting this morning. Ed ended up with a few wheats and some other assorted odds and ends. I think Tony ended up with three Indian heads, and I found a very roached 1859 Indian head (a fatty) and an 1899 Indian. We had a good time...

    Sunday digs

I met up with park pirate (Tony) and Ed (Upstate NY) this morning at one of our local parks. I just could not focus this morning everything sounded the same, crappy. I ended up getting skunked probably couldn't have found a manhole cover in front of me. Ed did about as good as me and Tony was...

    Tuesday afternoon coins.

Left work a little early today and headed to the park with dgravedigger (Duke) again. We worked the same area where he came up with the silver dimes yesterday. I managed to dig a few Indian heads and a couple wheaties. I think Duke got skunked with old ones but he did get a few wheaties. HH...

    Monday evening finds.

It was a beautiful evening so I headed out to one of my favorite local parks which has been giving up the old coins lately, and got lucky with a few more. HH Butch NY

One lonely Indian today, plus a cool button for all the relic hunters out there.

The Indian head was about 8" down and gave a great signal. The button is cuff size with a cannon plus a pile of cannon balls on it. Was down around 5-6 inches. HH Butch NY

    Saturday morning find.

I was out digging with a fellow findmall member, park pirate (Tony) this morning. We went to one of our favorite city parks for old coins. I managed this 1906 Indian head, great signal about 6-7 inches deep, plus a few wheaties. Tony scored a nice 1916 mercury dime. Always a good time getting...

A couple more old ones + a real nice 14kt eye find..

The treasure gods were good to me today. HH Butch NY

A few old Indians plus a little something for the jewelry hunters out there.

The first picture is an 186? Indian head. Real rough shape. It's a fatty and they usually get pretty corroded in our soil. It was real deep could barely get it to pinpoint and the depth meter was maxed at 10 inches. It was a very faint high tone and the number was pretty consistent in the low...

    A few roached old nickels.

I got a chance to get out a little this evening, and it turned out being a nickel kind of night. I just wish they came out of the ground in better condition. HH Butch NY

    Friday evening finds.

The ATP sure is one amazing machine. It keeps sniffing the old ones out from the junk. HH Butch NY.

    Weekend Finds.

No silver this weekend, but the ATP was hot on Indians. They were all in the 6" - 8" range, hiding in the trash.

    A couple Tuesday evening finds.

Good thing there not in the best of shape 'cause it looks like I hit them both with my digger. :rage: I've got to stop doing that.
