    Anyone noticed that the ID numbers and cross hair are more stable or accurate while in pinpoint mode on the Explorer SE? Could this be because pinpoint mode is detecting all metals and less filtering or because the gain and sensitivity might be maxed out?

    Button ID

    This is a one piece button. Measures just short of 5/8" in diameter. Heavier that two copper pennies. Only part of the shank remains. ID's just below a zinc penny. I know there's not much to work with, but ideas welcome.
