    accopoint pinpointer

    No vibrate mode on the Accupoint ? That alone would be a deal breaker for me. Vibrate is all I use. The chirping on pinpointers attract attention not to mention irritate the hell out of me.

    You are also able to adjust tone pitch on the Equinox 800 & 900 in 5 tone. I don't adjust the pitch, just the volume in the different bins. Bins 1 -3 & 4 are Vol. 1, 16, and 20. Bin 2 & 5 are set to 25. Default pitch in Bin2 is 6. At Vol. 25 this gives a very distinctive mid-tone alert. Bin 5...

    Agree, a factory reset couldn't hurt. I run mine with the sensitivity anywhere from default to 27-28. Ground balance is usually in the single digits and the mineralization meter is usually two bars or less. That said mine runs stable and tones are smooth unless I'm in a very trashy area...
