    pleasant surprise and a gold question

    Hi..I was cleaning up a few of last year's finds,,I just noticed that this ring is faintly marked 10k..It always was a odd looking silver ring,do you know if 10k in white gold is tested the same way as the regular gold colour. thanks hh oj

    what is this junk/gold?

    Found this ring years ago,,will have to get a opinion on it at the jewellers,,odd looks like gold,weighs 5 grams.The odd part is it is pitted under a 10x loop,is this junk? any ideas before get it checkek..the small pits are not rust? just like some erosion,it's one of those finds have no idea...

    Hi,,my question could apply to most detectors"how come a detector gives a signal only in one direction"..if it gives a signal must be metal?? or my guess maybe minerals or some anomaly? thanks oj here are my Ace 250 finds last night,using a sniper coil,,notice the 1922 nickel just one year off...
