    Thank you all for looking and the replies. Appreciate it! Here is a heartbreaker of a very deep nice signal I got last week in Minnesota. It was pushing about a foot deep and it was reading like a half up to a dollar. 1930s cold cream lid lying flat. Grrr. All part of the game.. Dave

    Had a fun day today

    Nice finds with that French 2 francs coin and hat pin. Years ago, I ran into a very large hat pin like that one. I also recognize the coin as I found a coin ring made from that francs coin around the same year. I believe it is 83.5% silver. Dave

    Great hunt Mark! I love finding those old class rings & you got seated checked off already for the year. That is quite a 1 - 2 punch with the Manticore and D2. I am in hibernation mode right now. Temp is -14 right now with a good 1/2 foot of snow on the ground. Dave
