    To update the remote, instructions say to use the one with the 3 leads. They say to use the short single to update the ws6 phones. That's what I did.

    Thanks for asking Tony. I get so frustrated when computer stuff goes wrong or doesn't go smoothly, I have to walk away. I didn't try again. The remote was a success . . the darn Ws6 headphones are the problem . . . . I don't care for them anyway and want to get the XL's.

    How did it switch languages . . . . I must have had Admin rights for it to do that. Now my headphones wont pare with the remote, they are useless. I'll try the upgrade again tomorrow. Thanks

    Help please.

    Somehow, when I was trying to update the wr6 headphones with no success (couldn't get to the "Update Screen" after the wrench screen) I somehow switched to a different language (wtf). Anyone know how to get it back when ya can't understand it. Did a reset, didn't go back to English . . .annoying.

    Anyone have the Tarsacci MDT 8000 and the Deus2? If so, have you compared them in the salt water/sand. I haven't gotten down to the shore yet and was curious as to a comparison.     I haven't compared it yet but I hear relic mode is the deepest. . . . you would think DeepHC would be. . . . I guess to make relic mode deeper would be to remove all the filters so the processing isn't hampered. Congrats on the great historic dig there coinworld, well done!

    Definitely. At 6-6 you will be wanting a longer shaft. I'm only 5-10 and I'd like one a bit longer because I like swinging a long arch. And, I like some tubing left in the upper shaft for rigidness.

    The red is for diving only. Something about pressure build up in the head. The black is good for when the control head is not submerged but can get wet. That's the way I read it.

    Not true, gw. It's more of a problem than you realize. It's only not a problem if you don't run a detector . . . unless you can convince me otherwise.

    How many hunts have you been on and the targets are only 3 to 4 inches deep? Many. Silent EMI is the perfect name. Good capture squirel1 !!! Did you test for that or just happen to come across it. We all knew about it but I never saw a demo on it, again, well done.
