    The advantage the 9" X35 would be the low freq for silver hunting disadvantage low freq uses up the battery.. The X35 coils has expert mode .. Honest I never use that

    I think the depth is about the same .. 9.5 coil is narrower for sepearation and one more freq at 74

    Beach Detecting Large coil you are not doing Tot Lots 2.77 and 2.78 version really depends om your soil and location 2.78 has a mute button to turn off the speaker from the PinPointer and EMI while digging targets
