    Hunted in backyard for like half an hour. It was 102* and heat index was like 114*. lol It wasnt the heat that made me stop though, after continuously digging all them aluminum ties we threw down years back when putting the chain link fence in.     Saw this in a kayaking magazine today. Pretty cool, any thoughts? Fixed focus, for 5ft to infinity though. :( So no good close ups, or zoom, just real basic. Mounts on your wrist, or you can mount it on a paddle, but a detector shaft and paddle shaft are about equal diameter...

    Excalibur on small chains and studs... :cam:

    Sadly it wont pick the chain up, or the small studs. But this is an air test, and its in the house, so it may not be operating to full potential. Its just an FYI only.     Norm, Jay, and I headed to the lane, arrived around 5ish or so. Parked at like 6th street. Headed South. I stayed in wet sand and water. Norm and Jay stayed in area between high tide and low tide. Norm got into water just a little. Just a 2 hour hunt since Jay's batteries died. TONS of trash...
