    When to use which coil???

    Really enjoying my new Omega..............with the stock 10" Eliptical concentric coil. Seems to work very well. But now I have the new white solid 10" DD coil...as well. When should I use the 10 " DD coil? What benefits does it add to the Omega. I'm told that some detectors just don't function...

    NEL coil for my new omega..............

    I need a coil for hunting large dry sand beach areas,,,(think Huntington Beach California).So I'm thinking of getting the NEL "Hunter" 12.5" X 8.5" DD Coil for my Teknetics Omega 8000. What do guys think? This a good idea........coil to heavy , not right??? Other coils make a better choice...

    I've just bought the Omega with the stock 10" Elliptical concentric coil. What benefit would there be in getting the 10" DD ?? Or maybe even the 11" DD ? How heavy is the larger 11" DD, would it make the detector nose heavy? And then to add even more complexity.........should I consider the 5" X...

    Which Midrange metal detector in the......

    ...$500.00 to $700.00 range has the most accurate target id at depth, in medium mineralized soil?( ID that locks on well and doesn't flutter around much) Depth, let's say about 6 inches? Hoping to get some advice from users who have acutual experience ..tired of the detector literature...

    Why is Whites afraid to tell you the weight of their detectors.............

    Went on the site to check out the various detectors, and each detector has a "full specs" section....................but with no mention of the detectors weight!!!! Mx5, M6 both no weight stats...same with others.............. is that really full specs????
