    Yes, that edge on the poll has a pretty good age on it. The old farmer who owned it must have done alot of pounding with that axe

    Oh, by the way, I repurposed that Axe Head. Very dense metal and I was able to put a very good edge on it.

    Thanks Rick! Yes, that Deus 2 is an amazing machine once you learn its nuances. I did hit a silver and a few coins back to 1900 about 30 miles from you in a couple parks so there are still a few hiding around there. Dave

    Finds are from the past few weekends since my last post. All finds are with my XP Deus 2 metal detectors. Most of the finds are from North Dakota with a few coming from Minnesota after the snow hit. Everything was found at researched public sites except the Axe head was found at a field site...
