    HELP...Question on Tiger Shark coil connection.

    Just bought a used Tiger Shark and was looking at the coil connection. I am used to other underwater detectors, but have never seen one where you could change the coil. Anyways, it appears to plug in as any other detector (5 pin). Then you just tighten up the serrated ring. Is that all there...

    Have been thinking of purchasing a Tiger Shark for use in the lakes and beach. Tesoro site says only the original owner is warrantied for life. Is this true?? If it is, anybody know the going rate for repairs when you don't have a warranty?? If I buy used, I need to consider what a repair...
