    1270 Civil War finds.....

I'm getting ready for another "Diggin in Virginia" relic hunt in a couple weeks..... I used the 1270 last time & it performed very well in the nasty red clay soil that gave most other VLF detectors fits. Here's most of my finds, including the CSA "thumbprint" inkwell I found digging huts. I...

Testing the New PI "Pistol Probe" by Detectorpro...

DetectorPro has introduced a brand new probe with their PI technology stuffed into a hand-held probe. I'm normally not a probe user & got sick of the onboard probes adding extra weight & extra cables that stick out & get snagged on every branch as 90% of my sites are in the woods....But, I'm...

Got out for a short F5 hunt....

I took the F5 to the cellar hole that appears in one of my YouTube video's that the F70 found a fugio cent at. There was a couple area's we had yet to hit...specifically the cart road that leads into the Colonial site. Rains were due soon so I had maybe 2 hours and just worked the dirt roadway...

Here's the X-series DD coil I've been testing out.....

Many of the long-time Fisher people that have been around here awhile always asked/ wished for DD coils. Well, I had heard the name "Excellerator" coils before & I think KellyCo sold them at one time. I always thought they were just for like Minelab's & Whites, but apparently this European made...

NEW Video....Conn. River bottle dig revisited

I needed to free up some space to finish editing the F5 video.... I know this is a Fisher forum, but here's another short riverbed bottle dig in the mud of the Connnecticut river I thought might be of some interest. It's all treasure. Viewers of my DVD's season one will be very familiar with...

Working on a video for the new F5.....

This will be another introductory-type YouTube video similar to the F70 promotional one I did before that has been viewed 5162 different times now. I'll run over the controls & everything, & if there's time maybe dig a coin or 2 hopefully at the end. You tube only allows like 11 min. of low...

Been doin some bottle diggin lately....

since my F5 has not arrived yet to begin the video. Instead I hooked up with some of my hunting buddies in the Boston area. I have only been able to get up there for 1 day, and recent flooding has shut down our efforts temporarily. But, here's a shot of many of the better finds layed out...

    Ground balance question....

HI all.... as I continue to read and take in all I can on the Infinium, it's seems that some folks are using different methods of ground balancing that the manual gives. Anyone care to share how they do it, or should I just stick with the manual's way? Thanks in advance, Bill

    Can I come in & play? :)

Just got me a used Infinium. I had always been curious about one, having seen relic hunters do really well with them in the red clays of Virginia for Civil War relics. That iron oxide clay is nasty, and some detectors won't even hear a bullet on top of the ground......but the guys with Infiniums...
