    weird things my detector does, what does yours do?

    My detector takes a bit of time to warm up when I'm first going in to the sea, and it works best if I switch it on with the coil just submerged, and I then go over my metal scoop, which gives it a good signal. Also sometimes if the wire that connects to the coil is wiggled around the machine...
