    I found this in my front yard the other day. We did some research and found out that the family that lived here in the early 1900s had 5 sons who were all in WWII.. HP

    harness button or lapel badge ?

    Ok, so I've gotten some good response w/ two possible answers....A lapel badge from WWII era and a harness button from WWI era....Attached is a photo showing the front and back to help solve the mystery....The back looks to like it actually had three tabs to hold it in place.... HP

    Here's three of the seven tags that have been found so far. We understand that a station manager lived here in the early 1900s. The oldest coin found here is dated 1917 and the oddest coin is a 1940 King George penny...I think I'm addicted!! HP
