    Slow Week

Kind of a slow week huntin. Lots of artifacts but very few coins. I keep hammering the same sites I pounded with the Explorer and today it paid off. Learned a lot about the F75 today, it's not that different from the Explorer. SLOW DOWN! Wade into the iron and listen for the higher chirps then...

    F75 & New Site

Tried a new virgin site with the F75 as the past hunted sites were getting thin on signals. Am amazed how the machine locks on to the good signals and jump around on the bad. The depth is fantastic. 1906 V, Military Buttons and Star shaving razor.

    Good Start

Gets better every time out with the F75. Got a 1898 on Saturday, 1897 & 1886 on Sunday, and the oldest U.S. coin to date, 1812 L.C. (Poor shape). Been running sens. 75 to 90, discrim. 1 to 15, Tones 2F & 3 and dE. Sens at 75 seems to cut down on the chatter and still gets plenty of depth. The...

    First outing with the F75

Took the F75 for a test run today. DEPTH WAS NOT A PROBLEM! WHOLLY COW, I gotta get a bigger knife. Wasn't anything great but it was a place I've hunted many times with the Explorer. Dug many signals over a foot deep. Will try older sites this weekend.

    Last hunt of the year.

Couldn't manage to get a coin on the last hunt but the wife got her first Indian, a 1907. Was able to get a lot of old artifacts though. Don't know what the thing with the holes is but it has a patent date of Dec 24 1868.
