    xlt audio disc / mixed mode

    Bought a used spectrum xlt. With either mixed mode on or audio disc off, I understand it is in an all metal mode. But while in either of these configurations, shouldn't it require motion. Mine acts like it is pinpoint if I use MM or turn audio disc off.

    Xterra on NJ beach....

    I have an Xterra 705 with the 10x5 HF DD coil and the 10.5" MF DD coil and will be trying it out for the first time on a NJ beach. Can anyone who has used their Xterra's on these type of beach conditions tell me what coil they used, how they set their machine up and any other tips.
