    Sov. Elite finds gold and silver today

    I decided to give the GT a rest today and opted for my "back -up" Sov. Elite. Nice low tide allowed me to get far out on the muddy flats...found a nice 14 K Artcarved band with 3 stones...my Diamond tester is not reliable at this time, so I will take the ring to the jeweler's maybe this week...

    Anyone know what this is? Instead of an ink pen point on the end, it has a kind of rubber material that can be compressed. I have no idea what this is, but would like to find out. Thanks if you can ID it for me. Magz

    A little silver to start the New Year

    42*, sunny with mild wind at the beach today...just great for detecting! Nice low tide let me get out further past the old pier than usual . Wasn't finding much around the pier, so I did the next best thing..I went directly under the pier. Found the silver ring under the pier in very rocky...

    Not too good with seafood recipes , but I thought I'd try this one for lunch
