    Need help on research.

I don't know Wayne personally, but I have visited his shop a few times when he was selling detectors and relics. I still have the Nautilus 2b that I purchased from him in the middle 90's.

    Yesterday's short hunt

Thanks. I had a pretty adventurous day to say the least. I had permission to hunt an 1800's homesite. I have hunted it once before. Started hunting for about an hour, and was asked to leave(I had talked to other guy beforehand) by the other half owner. Bummer. Never met this person. So I spent...

    Yesterday's short hunt

Only had about an hour to hunt the church spot in Cold Harbor before church activities started. A rivet of some sort, small flat button with a little gold on it and a round ball. Thanks for looking. Good luck hunting.

Just for fun what’s your serial number ?

84 and still going strong. No problems whatsoever, even the charging clip for the coil that some users are complaining about.

Anybody out their Ever find 1877 Indian Head Penny?

I'm dancing all around that date with the amount of IH cents I've dug over the years. 1863 on up. My latest is 1900.

    Today's hunt

Thanks. I try to hunt in different counties. There was a siege in Suffolk, Va. and I've been lucky enough to meet up with a group that doesn't mind inviting people to hunt their sites. It's a 2 hr drive (one way) for me. I don't mind that at all if it gives me an opportunity to dig civil war...

    A first for me

Nice find. I've dug a lot of bullets but never a Carcano. Buddy of mine dug one back in April.

    Today's hunt

Version 0.71. General program. Disc 6.8, sens 95, reactivity 1, IV 1. Audio 5. These are the settings I use. I don't mess with the bottle cap or tone breaks. I use pitch tone. I'm using the 13" coil and it does really good in trashy areas. Iron, junk and aluminum cans were everywhere. There...

    Sunday's diggings

Went back to the same spot and met up with some more diggers (members) of a detecting club of which I'm a member. Saw some cool finds. A holed merc dime with another coin bent in half over it was pretty cool. I got another flat button, a d buckle and what I thought was a large cent but might...

    Yesterday's hunt

Yeah, I was fussing and cussing all throughout trying to find it. The weeds were chest high in a lot of spots and I was hoping it wasn't dropped in there but it was in an open area and luck prevailed! Lesson learned... I'll leave it in my car from now on!

    Yesterday's hunt

Got out with a few buddies for a few hours yesterday for some digging. A piece of a spur and a flat button was my take minus the trash. Highlights of the day....one buddy tripped up and broke his shaft near the control pod(Legend metal detector) but was able to rig it back up. As for me, I lost...

What is the best beep and dig machine(s) you have ever owned or still owned?

I still have the 2b. That thing is sensitive on really small targets too. I dug what I thought was a buckshot...nope...turned out to be a ball button, shank intact! I've been looking at the Vista X too!

What is the best beep and dig machine(s) you have ever owned or still owned?

Nautilus...from the LF to the 2b. They've filled my display cases.

What version are you guys running?

O.71 has been working well for me and don't see the need for the 2.0. I may update to the 1.1 on my WS6 puck setup and compare with the full remote setup. I made another Deus 2 with another rod and spare coil/headphones. Good luck hunting.
