    The stock coils work very well. The machines were tuned at the factory precisely to the coil they came with. Though the Mojave seems to work very well with Anything I throw on it. Even the 3-18". The little 5" is Hot on the Mojave.

    Cool Love those pictures. Do any detecting or panning ? Is the ore load gold or micro requiring leeching ? I can't now. Though I've always dreamed of poking around the country doing a little prospecting. Jeff Williams seems to do quite well around old mines.

    Or do a pencil impression on paper. Artist carbon stick's work great for that. Use that method on old tombstone's too. I do recommend a gentle tooth brush cleaning first.

    I do believe knowing that 4" coil is difficult to find. I'm certain you'll be happy with the more common 5" coil. They come in DD and concentric. Can't wait to see what you decide on and your finds

    If he does a Compadre for you. Have the sens pot installed. And get the coil plug installed so you can use different coils. He will most likely tune the GB mini pot on the board to the 4-5" coil. I have more small coils. On machines right now.
