    Thanks. Mostly the steel bottle caps sounded like a high tone. One aluminum never tail without the tail sounded high.

    Jmaclen, I read your post about higher frequency and higher it’s but it didn’t stick in my head. How do I get those junk target sounds to go back to low? Here are my finds from my first beach outing with HF2 coil. The bottle caps and other junk sounded good. I was in high freq 89

    I finally hit a beach and was lucky enough to find a Pandora bracelet. Also got a foreign coin smaller than a US dime. I did dig up some junkers, bottle caps and aluminum that sounded good. I was using the HF2 coil in beach sensitive. Best of luck to all!

    I agree, things have changed in this hobby. Two things to add to your reasons for more beach hunters out there these days, manufacturers push clubs to get kids involved in the hobby to sell more products, second, folks are finding it harder to get good dirt fishing spots. Laws have changed...
