Someone stole my Deus remote and WS5 headphones.

A friend of mine here close to me in Alabama had the same thing happen. He works in mobile and someone stole his ws5 headphones from his truck. They did not take his remote though ... That sucks pretty bad knowing what those cost. You may have to get a fanny pack to throw your expensive...

Deus 2 most anticipated release ever..

Well I'm 54 now and wife retired from post office in 2016 and we have always camped in the south, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, The Carolinas etc and in June of 2019 we were on dauphin island Alabama camping, drove over to Baldwin county between mobile bay and Florida and ended up...

This right here is a perfect example of why you test alot and only use the best detector for the job. 1 chance at a site. Good job.

Deus 2 most anticipated release ever..

Yes I know the depth is on his soil, so my point on that, if it can't pass in his extremely mild soil how on earth could it pass it Alabama red dirt? But I also test detectors, and have owned most of them and he pretty much tests they way I do. Set up some situations in his soil and other test...

Deus 2 most anticipated release ever..

If I know it's an aluminum can the I do not dig it Everytime ... Why? Because after 40+ years and many years in the Dept of Corrections my knees are both replaced and have found enough over the years to pass a few. But yes I have found silver coins under aluminum, quite a few times. I usually...

Deus 2 most anticipated release ever..

Well he does several things for testing. But it's the kind of tests that IF the detector can't pass simple depth, separation tests then he knows, and I know it's not the detector for him or me. The example you give I see daily, iron mixed with silver, copper, brass, aluminum etc. Well I dig it...

Deus 2 most anticipated release ever..

I think he was talking about the industry standard in waterproof detectors. Minelab has a huge leak issue and several of us has said if XP would ever bring out a good simultaneous multifrequency machine that is also waterproof then I'd be done shopping for detectors. But since they upped their...

What are your beliefs about metal detector? Old Tech VS New?

I started in 1978, I'm 54 now and new tech absolutely does a better job, deeper, better separation, ergonomics, lighter, better batteries screens etc. First off the comfort level of a machine will keep you swinging longer so right there is a way to find more with say a deus over a gti 2500...

Are people unloading the XP Deus?

Why not? I've been detecting over 40 years so part of the fun now is trying the new tech. I may keep my deus long enough to do some comparison between the two. If the deus II is better for what I do I may just sell my used one.

    Price 1600.00

For $1599 you are getting a diving detector , beach detector, park detector, field detector etc plus it's shaft doesn't have to be replaced . The equinox has water leaking issues and wasn't able to go past 10 ft deep. The deus II can possibly eliminate the need for any of the diving only...

    Problems with Deus II

Yep sold my nox , simplex and still have my deus and ordered the deus II . Nox always felt flimsy til I spent alot more money on a carbon fiber shaft and lower rods. The control pod cracked so they replaced it under warranty, always worried about coil ears as they were flimsy, but never broke...

Looks like I will be getting a new dive detector...DEUS II

No I don't. I have a dealer I always use and since he ordered some I said put me on the list. I didn't ask what all comes with it. Don't care as I just wanna run it through some tests and see how it does in wet sand at the beach. I'm guessing January-March lol. Says it will be available in...

Tried the 9 inch HF coil

I just sold 3 deus coils and kept the 11" x35 . It separates just as good but gets better depth . Plus I beach hunt and wanted a little bigger coil to cover more ground.
