    First Hunt With 705

    Went out with the 705 with stock 9 in. and also tried the 6 in. Found one ring about 3 in. deep that come in at 8. Also just clad around $1.45. The soil balanced around 16-18 and was very dry. Was running sensitivity around 24-26 and run smooth. Used four tones. I did not dig any targets...

    Which Shovel for Digging?

    Wondering what tool or shovel you all use went out in the fields, old run down sites etc. Not something I would use on private lawns, schools, parks or any site where leaving it like you never were there is important. , It would seem a small shovel type would save a lot of bending etc.????

    New 705

    Took the jump today and ordered a new 705. Had one in the past and sold it for no really good reason. A lot to like about the X-terra's . Got to brush up on Randy's book again, lots of good info in it. HH Joe

    I have a Vaquero and wondering if I might see much benefit on the 11 x 8 over the stock coil. My soil is mild and I mostly hunt old coins.

    FT - Fisher F70

    F70 Test Madden Run

    Went out to give the 70 a try for a hour. Local trashy park 82 cents and a little can slaw. Set it up -3 threshold sen.70 tried different tones. I can tell this is a different detector than my MX5 or Tesoro for sure. Will take sometime! I did alittle test with the 3 detectors with a nickel...
