    GPS interference with detectors?

    Was thinking about getting a nice GPS unit with all the topo maps/bells and whistles and was wondering if the unit would have any effect on my detector as I know other electronic devices can make my machine go crazy i.e. cell phone (receiving/outgoing calls), power lines......
