    Found a nice 925 GS with what looks like a sapphire in it , It still has some dirt packed under the back of the stone , It rang up 80--81 on my ORX also found a 1$ coin and lots of quarters Good hunt .

    Thank s Jimmy I just need to not get discouraged, and keep at it . one battle I lost was when i went into the woods and was soon overwhelmed by a strong force of battle ready mosquitoes, and wood ticks , I made an mediate retreat. back to the Open field , continuing with some good finds

    I was detecting a middle school, and got another 925 silver , I could tell it was heavy , but when I got home and put the magnifier on it it was marked 925, At least some of the people have good jewelry , those pencil eraser sound like a good target , Dug alot of them .     I got the magnets from (Total Element.com ) this is the best deal I have found the N52 are the strongest out on the marked , I sugjest houseing them in somthing with a layer of protection like I did they will not take much abuse, and are brittle but just the two as shown will be very powerfull...

    Ya the copper pipe is 3/4" ID type L with an end cap witch i soldered on , I have 2 inches of magnets in the pipe and 2 inches of 3/4 inch dowl rod into it and screwed on with two screws, I wrapped the dowl with some duct tape to get a good fit . the Magnets are N42 3/4 inch wide and 1/4 inch...

    Its got a lot of pull power,alot of the items eather pull out of the grass or dirt just from the pulling power or i can feel it tugging on the iron and can tell right where it is and just pry it out

    Hunted a park today , and found no cladd, just zincs, and pull tabs, but i dig Iron and was using my new super magnet, and I dug out a crecent shapped Iron object and scanned again ,Got a nice clear high tone, Up comes a crusty quarter they Missed it , and again i was digging out some bolts...
