Some of the latest finds. High conductors 80 TID and up are becoming few, so I've started digging solid low conductors down to 50 TID on the Deus-2. But I haven't covered old ground that I've already gridded. There is a general area toward the back half of the property in the middle of the field...

    XP Deus 3???

It seems too soon for a new version unless it is a D2 with some major hardware upgrades, like wireless charging and wireless updates. The DIN plug is the part that irritates me the most about the D2.

The low hanging fruit is slowly disappearing. I did find a gold-plated ring which gives some promise of gold jewelry. It rang in at 80 on the Deus-2. That's the 6th ring I've found out here. I pulled 2 SLQ's out of the ground yesterday. The signals were so bad I thought they were small scraps of...

what site do you guys use to determine what your common silvers are worth....

https://www.usacoinbook.com/ Shows melt value. Actual value will be somewhat less depending on where you take them. You will never get melt from a refinery/pawn/jewelry. But there has been a huge demand for silver coins by people buying precious metals. You may do better selling them outright...

Ive been out to the field a few times since my last post. For some reason the first couple times I wandered pretty aimlessly in order to get a feel for the area. I think we all do that, but for some reason my coil kept landing on silver. Recently I've been gridding the area I believe the house...

    Need a Pointer ...

I know they made good ones, I just happened to have bad luck and after 2, I won't take another chance. I'm the same with LG products. Burned twice yet it seems a lot of people love them.

    Need a Pointer ...

I had bad luck with the Propointer. Owned two which I purchased about 2 years apart about 14 years ago. The second was purchased because the first failed and I need a PP while it was in the shop. One failed within warranty and both failed out of warranty (3 failures). I have a Whites TRX that...

    Beach heart stopper!!!!! Diamond Emerald

The setting looks good but the body looks heavy plating. However, it's hard to tell from your pic if it's just because of zoom distortion.

Last couple trips out. A whole lot of junk not shown, but a couple cool finds. First 2 pics are from earlier in the week. The last 3 are from today. Couldn't believe I lasted 3-1/2 hrs. Usually my back is in agony after 2 hrs. Two barbers today. 1913 is the decent one. the mangled is 1916. A...

Forgot to mention about the eagle button. On the back is AMERICAN BUTTON CO. *NEWARK N.J.* Manufactured 1901-1920 for the US military. Another first for me.

Sterling silver. I wasn't sure until I found the second half. It's marked. If you zoom into the 2nd pic of the second set posted, you can see. I've found a lot of engraved sterling silver artifacts at this site. For so many personal items to be found, I believe there may have been a fire and the...

Barber is a 1911. Severely worn but identifiable.

Yes, sterling. I found the other half of the strange piece with STERLING on it. I posted in Watzit Forum, but maybe someone who only visits this one can identify? Second half shows how it was assembled. It's so mangled, you have to use your imagination. Trying to straighten created cracks in it...

Found another piece of the puzzle today. I believe it goes together per the last picture. I'm sure there was more to it. maybe a watch or key fob? It's approx. 3 inches long x 1 inch wide.

Thank you for your thoughts Rick. The screw part is about 1/4 inch in dia. It's attached to the body by a small (non-corrosive) screw. I kind of thought maybe an ornate door buzzer actuator where the screw part is the contact point, but that's probably wrong. I will post better pictures later...

Ah, thanks. I thought it was one of 2 bells from an old alarm clock. The bicycle bell makes more sense. It's a heavy cast pot metal type material.

I found this in a field that I've pulled coins ranging from 1890's to the 1920's. Many of the personal items I've dug are engraved like this one. I have no clue as to what it could be from.

Got 3 hrs in the field yesterday. I think about 6 more tokens but severely damaged. severely corroded pennies most of which are not shown because I decided to soak them in lemon juice to see if I could reveal any details. It didn't help. They are just too far gone. The 1922 dog tag is in great...

Me too! I knew I had something when I retrieved it. I'm still looking for the top half, but I'm worried it got gathered up when the sod was harvested.
