    Today's finds from the new spot

    Not a whole lot to hunt but gave it my best shot. Only hunted for about 3 hrs and here's my take. Thanks for looking and good luck hunting.

    First hunt of the season. Going in with the Deus 2 today. New permission not to far from the Spotsylvania Battlefield. Hope to dig a bullet or two. Good luck hunting if you get out today.

    Looks civil war to me. Possibly French M1769 or M1771 according to AI. Nice relic anyway! My nephew dug a bayonet that's in excellent condition for being dug. Near the Wilderness Battlefield. Good luck hunting.

    There's one for sale in my area @$250. Looks to be in great shape by looking at the pics. Battery showed 11 v and the screen looked clean. Good buy? Thanks and good luck hunting.

    whats the best detector you ever owned?

    My first Whites detector was the Eagle 2 SL. I got it new, fresh off the shelf. It found many, many civil war relics and coins. It was my second best of the Whites detectors I owned. Blue and Gray, DFX were so so. But the best I would say was the MXT. Good luck hunting.

    Well, to be honest, I've only owned one Garrett detector. So it would have to be the AT Max.

    I haven't seen any on some the detecting forums, but I've had several emails from dealers taking pre-orders. Wait and see I guess. There is a YouTube video on the new coil also. Good luck hunting.

    Nautilus to whites shaft brackets ?

    I don't have any drawings, but this is how Wayne Lee of Nautilus did the Whites rod on mine. I put the tape to cover the holes where the original shaft was connected to the box. I don't know if Wayne is still doing this. He took over Nautilus after the original owner passed.

    I doubt President Trump's tariffs will have any affect on the coils prices. All the coils sell for $399. I did see one detector website have it on pre-order for $319. I paid $350 for the 11x13 coil. from a well known dealer on here. So deals can be had. Good luck hunting.
