    Quick little hunt

Looks like the Shilling was drilled to make it into a button. That's a nice variety of finds.

    Two in the hole

One of my favorite types of finds, showing how one type of coin stayed in circulation years after another type is released. Great find.

    Nice Barber Quarter today

She's a pretty one. Nice hunting.

gonna step away for a bit...

gunwolf, I can relate to your post .I don't think the majority of hunters post every find they make. I try to post when I feel I have some information to share that is related to the finds and the hunt that I am showing. Many times while on a hunt I gain some new information about the detector...

Double Largies In The Schoolhouse Field

Today I hunted the site of a one-room schoolhouse that is shown on an early 1900's plat map. The map showed the location of the schoolhouse to be at the intersection and right next to the road. I began hunting with the F75 in All Metal Mode and quickly realized there were very few targets in...

I found a very productive spot in a park today!!

Looks like you got into an area that has been very lightly hunted in the past. I agree that the 1902 Barber Quarter is somewhat of an oddball. It's wear pattern suggests that it was lost pre 1925. You had a very nice "vintage" hunt.

Great find in my pounded out field. 1864 2 Cent it great condition.

Lots of detail. Not giving up on the site payed off.

Model T parts trifecta x2 and 1918 Merc!

Nice Merc with only a small amount of wear. It fits right in with the Model T timeline. The site must have been some kind of stop off point back in the day. Nice hunting!

14 cents including a first for me

The Two Cent piece is nice but I like the 31-S better. Nice hunting.

    Barber Streak

Nice bunch of old coins. That's a good looking button also!

    Do Coin Star finds count?

Must be something wrong with that Coin Star machine. Most of the "rejects" look like there is nothing wrong with them. Good score!

A Buff nickel in a weird location.

That's a really nice lawn area you have there Ron. It will be a "go to" spot for a long time when you want to hunt for the deep targets. The Buffalo bracelet is a nice find.

    Seated Half made my day...

Nice Half ! I hope you can get access to where the dirt was dumped.

Three oldest categories done in 20 minutes!

Nice hunt. The 11-S Wheat cent is a hard one to find, and in nice condition too!

Oddest dang hunt so far, just odd…..

Nice find. My guess on why you found them this time is that you found them this time because you dug them this time. What I mean is, maybe with the wetter conditions before, they rang a little louder and closer to the "falsing numbers" and were passed up as junk. We always talk about wet ground...

Went back to the mosquito infested woods and exited the woods standing

Nice hunt. The wooded areas can be rough this time of year. That's a great Standing Liberty.

Got out for a couple hours and scored!

Nice hunt. The 27-D Merc is is not a real common date.

    between these two............

I mostly hunt with an F75 with the Fisher 11"DD coil. I sometimes use the Nel Tornado 12 X 13 coil when hunting for deep coins in non trashy grass areas, but the 11" DD stock coil is my go to coil when hunting the fields and other areas that have normal trash targets. The Fisher 6" football coil...

Tough small park gives up deep silver barber Quarter!

Finding 9 silvers in two trips is a good couple of hunts. It's a nice little hot spot! Good hunting on getting the deep ones.
