    Rain/Dust cover for Goldbug SE

Hi all I just got a rain/dust cover for my Goldbug SE off an Ebay site "Treasure place". Very well made, with easy access to the faceplate, with plenty of room to prevent any stress on the connector/coax. (My goldbug coax connector, and reinforced cable at the connector is almost twice as long...

My new GBse is very very good to me

Here is my day's finds....I had my discrimination set to the P.F.M. position (paper folding money). I was way out in the sticks, so I would have been suprised to find any paper, but especially this kind. To heck with coin shooting. Maybe it's some of D.B. Coopers walking around money.

    First Texas Pilot

Anyone try or use a 10" magnum coil on a FT Pilot...I got one as a back up detector, and I havent been real impressed with the depth (i know its only a $125 machine), It would serve me better if I could get a few more inches though,...just wondering if a bigger coil could do that. Thanks Randy

    Metal pipe

Hi folks Can anyone give me an idea of what operating frequency range would be best for detecting buried metal pipes (3/4" and larger)....with a traditional type detector (VLF), and... what frequency for detecting bundles of 14 gage solid copper wire (2 to 50 wires at about 16" deep). Thanks Randy

I've been looking for a book called "The Complete Unabridged Zip Zip"...by Larry Sallee. Ive hunted everywhere on the net....everyone is out, and wished they could get more copies (its out of print, with the last printing 2004). I have a Goldmaster II, and Ive heard its a great book on nugget...
