    Do me a favor, put your machine in all metal and see if your menu go's from threshold back up to program, not to tones and then notch. I called Fisher and they said send it in. Got a call from a tech and he said that's the way it is suppose to work and that my machine checks out OK? I feel...

    MM Buck & Co St Louis RR locks, rare?

    Can find only one picture of my lock so I'm thinking it must be kind of rare? The one I found up there 3 years ago looks very similar except for the rivets, the size and chain look the same. I'm thinking they are both MM Buck & Co St Louis? lock picture

    Camping finds

    21 nights on the Arizona "Rim", I hunted a little every day at the foundation of a cabin built in 1900, I found good stuff every day. Had to send my F70 in for repair when I got home.. Menu go's from threshold back to program, wont go to # of tones or notch.

    On my F2 I ran the batteries down to no bars at all and they both tested "replace" on my tester. On my F 70 I replaced at 1 bar. Only 1 battery was in the "replace" and the other three were right on the line of good and low. I think next time I will replace just the one and see how that goes...

    My first Barber dime!, You guys back east have it good. Any silver here in Arizona is hard to come by. Anything from 1950 is old out here. Found under a sidewalk torn out from a housing project that was built for fighter pilot training back in the early 40's and has been vacant about 5 years...

    A thread on friendly made me dig out my 1943 penny I found in 2003 in a campground I pulled tons of wheats and silver from. I thought I found big money that day. But a fake in a campground that looked to be in the dirt a very long time? Any value?

    Gold questions, why so elusive

    If gold is used on high end electronic connections it must be the best at conductivity? Why does it come in so low at foil? Will gold coins hit hard or like foil on a class ring? You would think any gold would just scream?

    T2, T2SE coils work on F 70 F 75?

    Will the T2 or SE coils interchange with Fisher F 70 ,75 Wanting another detector and looking at the T2SE but have all the coils for my F70 and if they interchange fine, but if they dont I will have to go with a F 75, thanks

    First sniper coil hunt. Hit a place that we hit hard several times but did manage to "snipe" a silver dime. 7 wheat's, Bobcat Cub Scout BSA pin, Fisher name plate and some clad.

    F 70 sniper coil

    Just got a sniper for my F 70, man that thing almost looks silly it's so small. Going to hit a little grass area that gave up a lot of silver to see if I can "snipe" out a few more. Also thinking a extra lower rod might be in order.
