    Help please...before I throw the Sovereign through the window

    I got some half-boot toggle boots from Sunray. Managed to get 3 of the 4 installed on my GT. The 4th (the one for the Disc/Iron Mask switch) is giving me fits. I have huge hands...and the threads keep slipping below the face plate. Any hints? I can't get needle-nosed pliers in there and...

    An end of confusion

    Thank you all for your help. Took the Sovereign GT to Cocoa Beach this evening. Learned within the first few minutes to identify bottle caps and pull tabs (there are a TON of them there). Foil condom packets were a bit tougher at first. Coins were EASY to identify. No gold or silver, but...

    IMHO, the manual that came with the Sovereign GT leaves a lot to be desired. I purchased C.J. Clynick's book on "Finding Gold, Silver and Coins with the Minelab Sovereign and Excalibur," but that is a bit more advanced and really doesn't cover the basics too well. I have the Sovereign all...
