    Explorer II, does yours do this?

    If I hold my explorer II up in the air away from everything and gently shake it, it sounds off as if there was something passing under the detector coil. I sent it to minelab a month ago and they returned it saying "no fault found". Does yours do that if you shake it in the air? Thanks.

    How do you search a large area: acres in size?

    I got permission to hunt an old school playground. It is about 5 acres in size. While hunting takes place over days / weeks, how do you keep track of what pieces / grids you have already hunted? I am thinking about getting a small gps unit and take a reading when I start and finish, searching...
