    battery voltage

    I finally ran my first set of batteries down to 10 volts in my MXT and the thresh hold started to get funny. Then I noticed that the thresh hold control could not quiet the thresh hold noise. I replaced the batteries and now it is O.K. I did buy this used and I was wondering if everyone else...

    GMT mod - discrimination

    Has anyone heard of adding a discrimination control circuit to a Whites GMT to make it usable for coins? I bought it for gold but now I'm hooked on all metal detecting. It is too cold now for the Idaho City area and I would like to dig less trash. Thanks in advance. Tim
