    SHELL CASING ID

    Found this shell casing at a local park that served as a union campground during the CW and a camp during the Spanish American War. It was at 7 inches. The casing measures 1 1/2" x 1/2". Any ID would be appreciated. HH

    recent finds

    Went detecting today with my "th" partner flynndfx40 before the rain ran us out. Found a 1941 quarter and a woman's dog tag (military?). Covered the SS# for her privacy. Found the Walking Liberty Half a few days ago. Last number on date is ???9.

    today's finds

    I am posting this for my "th" partner flynndfx40. We went to an 1800's house for 2 hrs before the rain ran us out. Found an IH (1904), buffalo nickel (1935), silver quarter (1943), rosie (1946), and some wheats. Going back when we can spend all day on 6 sites in a 100 yd stretch.
