    Cors Scout and Patriot is a winner!

    Planted a 11.5" merc. Stock coil not able to pick it up. The Cors Scout was able to pull it out. Its also a much quieter coil. Less chatter in SE.     Big old spike

    Found this today with the AT Gold. Id'd hard iron at 12" hoping to find these concentrated somewhere but for now this was the only one. Anyone got a ballpark date on this? It looks like a mini RR spike.

    Found a wheat penny cache

    Well my buddy Chris and I found a wheat penny cache but the pennies are all corroded. I have them in a tumbler now with some dish detergent. Any advice on how to get the green crusties off? There seems to be about 100 or so pennies. The thrill was cool though!

    CZ-7 12AA's to 2 9v Conversion

    Just converted my CZ-7 to 2, 9 volt batteries instead of 12, 1.5v AA's. Does anyone see a problem with this? I get the same depth and it's been on for 4 hours and still has full battery strength.
