    TRADE Teknetics T2 for Fisher CZ3D

    I have a basically new Teknetics T2, the green one. With owners manual. Would be interested in trading for a CZ3D. I know the T2 is capable of producing great finds, but I don't have the patience for new technology. I already own some other CZ's so I have extra coils, etc. Like to try out a 3D.

    Nervous about this CZ20

    I just bought a CZ20 and it is my first ever water detector. I'm actually afraid to fully submerge it! Are they normally very leak proof? One thing I noticed while just air testing it is that when the red led's blink I can actually see light through the plastic at the top edge of the control...

    Summertime headphones:cry:

    I've been using grey ghosts, but they are so dang hot!! What is a good, lightweight headphone? Also on a side note....for some reason my grey ghosts quit working with my Vaquero but still work in my other machines, other headphones still work in the Vaquero:shrug:

    Never night hunted before....as it begins to heat up here in Florida, it sounds like a good idea. Anyone care to share stories of there experiences night hunting? Do you get hassled by anyone?

    Don't know the first thing about a coinstrike, it looks an awful lot like a more modern CZ7a....is there more than looks? Do the coils interchange?

    It's real easy to envy those who live in Virginia for it's Civil war battlefields, or Massachusetts with it' 16th century homes, or how about the treasure coast of Florida for it's shipwreck gold! If you could take a treasure hunting trip somewhere, where would YOU go?:usaflag:

    How to hunt trashy sites

    Just left a 1920's homestite that was just littered with trash! The house has sat vacant for many years and evidently has became a hang out for teens or homeless persons. Pull tabs, beer and soda cans everywhere. How would you approach an area like this? Max disc...dig everything??? I managed...

    I was looking to buy a new X-50, and not having previous experience with minelab.....I went on the web for research. What I'm finding is nothing! Nothing on minelabs site except that it was introduced in 2005 and has been discontinued. I'm guessing that if it's very old, regardless if it's new...

    Air test has me excited!!:clap:

    Just got my new Vaquero! I tuned it per the instructions and the air test is incredible! When I first opened the box and saw a little purple, plastic toy, I was skeptical. I uploaded the kindle book from Amazon for some more tips. Man I'm excited and hope to try it out at old homesite today.

    Found a budget diggin tool with sheath

    I was in my local Tractor Supply store yesterday and found these nice little diggers for $10! Very light and thin profile, almost knifelike. It says blade is carbon/stainless? They seem to be pretty well made for the money but time will tell.

    Why buy an F70 when my CZ's work fine???

    I've never used any of the newer digi detectors......am I really missing out on anything? I have the opportunity to pick one up for around $300, which I guess is a decent price. It seems like people don't hold on to them like the treasured CZ5's. Can someone who transitioned to digital share...

    I've used nothing but Fishers for 20+ years. I've had good luck with them so it's easy to say if ain't broke don't fix it! If anyone has CZ experience, please share with me your thoughts. Also, what Tesoro model would be comparable to a CZ5? Thanks and let the fun begin

    Anyone ever found civil war relics in Florida?

    Man do I envy those of you that live in the battlefield states! Even before I moved to Florida I lived in Oklahoma, which also saw very little conflict. I guess there are those that would come to Florida to hunt beaches but has anyone hunted for civil war relics?
