    Beware Counterfeit Garrett Pro pointers are out there !!

    I resonantly returned a pinpointer to Garrett for repair and it was discovered to be Counterfeit. take a look at the pictures it's pretty obvious when it's side by side with a real one. Can "pinpoint" which one is real ?? yeah I had to do that LOL

    Detech 8x6" SEF Butterfly Search Coil used on V3i

    Has any of you that have a V3i used a Detech 8x6" SEF Butterfly Search Coil on your detector ? I have heard conflicting stories I was told it has trouble in the high freq range and others say it actually works great maybe better than actual v rated coils, what kind of trouble and is there a way...
