    Just another day at the beach in So Ca

    About a 4 hour hunt resulting in 13 quarters..15 dimes..2 nickles..11 pennies..one dog tag and a silver ring with 6 little diamonds, which will be confirmed latter this week..The ring was completely black when I found it it looks like its been around in the sand for a long time, is quite small...

    Sunday morning on the beach.

    Sunday Morning was beautiful, nobody comes to this beach until about 10 or 11 am when the sun peaks through. I was there at sun up hunting in wet sand on a cut made by the high tide waves, I don't think anyone hunts in the water at this beach, winter brings us waves with faces sometimes at 25...

    so cal hunt

    About 3 hours this morning at a beach 30min from home. THis is all sand, haven't finished water housing for GT yet. Surf sometimes too big but nice and sunny.. The chain and charm are 925 Italy, almost never find gold on the beaches here water too cold for swiming...Happy Hunting

    I'm having trouble using the WOT with my Sovereigns, Elite and GT. I don't really hear much even on iron infested beaches. I sometimes feel like I'm just walking around dragging my scoop swinging the md and feeling foolish. I hunt in all metal and the settings work great with my smaller coils...

    So I've had the WOT coil about one year now but have not been able to use in successfully on beach hunts. The settings on my Sovereign elite and GT are the same as with the 10in coil, no success to speak of. I hunt on wet and dry sand no water at this time. Here in So Cal no one goes swimming...
