Deus 2 WS6 puck on telescoping rod

Advice on working in heavy iron with the D2
Any advice/ program settings on working in a heavy iron site would be appreciated. Will be hunting in a tin can, crown cap, big iron infested nightmare soon. Can the D2 handle this? The only detector that I’ve found that can work in this environment is a Tesoro with a 4 inch puck. Thanks, Ray- Ray(Ca)
