    Remember , ALWAYS rebalance machine when adjusting power or preamp gain . Look for a preamp setting that is as stable as you can stand .. I keep at 2-3 on wet , but have went hotter on dry . Ac sens i try a START point of 75 -77. I leave DC sens at 50 - 55 and dont really touch again. A good...

    Air testing

    I agree that air testing is somewhat fruitless due to it's NOT " real " world testing of the machine . It needs to be GROUND TESTED where it counts. I watch those videos on youtube about what this one does compared to another and get irriated that they are pushing misinformation. :ranting:

    Bigfoot for dfx works on mine ONLY on 7.5 khz ( for the most part ) ...VDI is erratic but detects targets pretty ok. I think that this coil would work efficiently if was able to recalibrate loop . Im sure it can be done ... Goldfoot worked on higher freq .whites gold detectors. I have a fair...
