The Finns are loving the :garrett:AT PRO

Down we go into the depths,

What a deep seeker this is! I like running in pro, stock setting of like 35 and no notch. I turn on the iron audio with a few swings when I get a target. There are many masked targets out there that older machines could not punch through and separate. Pinpoint depth is very accurate, one...

    AT PRO First Outing today!

Nice day and the sun came out a few times. I took the AT PRO to a park for a little fun after a little air testing. Now I will read the manual again to lock in some of the features as I discovered how well the machine can narrow the detection field in Pin Point by accident. It is on page 36...

I got a big postcard from Whites on the V3!

Thanks Whites! Nice card and welcome marketing among all the junk mail I got. The card is all I kept that day and it's making me think a whole lot about the V. Of course I want one, and I can have one, but I think I'll just take the next step,... and take a closer look. SJ

Silver, the flu and good health

Silver. Good for what ails ya. Some know the virtues of Colloidal silver. You can make it, you can buy it. During the flu pandemic of the 1918 H5N1 that killed millions, some escaped the deadly affects of the flu. More people back then ate with silver utensils and served from silver vessels...

F75 and it's expanded Iron ID Range.

Sure does open up a new world in detecting. The Iron range is 1 to 15 and there is much information in that range that small low conductive targets like lead and distant gold can indicate in. No, the targets are not iron but the REAL DEEP low conductors masked out by other machines in an iron...

Sunny Jim's Tall Tales of the F75 for April 2009 contest

" I fast grabbed the moon in my backyard and it came in at 42" There is no prize in this contest because the winners have an F75. I know most just cannot believe how good a detector it is, so go ahead and call me a liar. April Fools! SJ

    F75 Sensitivity

Did some detecting today and had some interesting discoveries. Lots of bullets in a large deadhead on the shore. Noticed this while trying different settings. I was getting a jumpy report at values of sensitivity below 30. At 30 and above all quiet. Not really in town and not really away from RF...

Practice looking for Gold Nuggets

Most gold is small. Size can be compared to a match head or a rice crispy. A Nickle acts and reports like a 1/4 oz Gold nugget. A nickle weighs 5 grams. Those are big nuggets in most locations so small gold is the game. Get some lead sinkers and lop off a few rice crispy sized 'nuggets'...
