    Bounty Hunter detector

    I have a question for the board, I just saw the Bounty Hunter gold metal detector on E-Bay. Is this detector new? Wondering has anyone tried this detector? I guess I am really behind the times using QuickDraw-2. Good hunting to all Jim.

    Very Old Coin ID ed

    The coin I found is a 1/2 sen from Japan. The time period is Meiji 10-25 , the years minted 1868-1912. The Internet has some good pictures listed. I did clean the coin, found out it was made from copper and the diameter is 22mm,one side of the coin is in pretty ruff shape. I guess I'll will...

    Battery contacts

    I am curious if anyone else had a problem with their Quick Draw 2, the 9 volts battery contacts were intermittent. I replaced them with the package from Radio Shack. This cured the problem of resetting itself while out in the field. The detector still works great and does not reset itself...

    Quick draw 2

    Has anyone on the board had experience with changing the 8 inch coil to a 10 inch coil. I read that it makes the Quick Draw 2 a much better detector. Is there any facts to back up this statement? Thank you
