Countless buttons and greenies. All...

    What do you do when...

Tater...used to be golf would take most of my time but seems detecting is number one and the golf clubs are put away for this year and at least 4 months of next (I used to golf year long, cold, snow, rain whatever). But retirement allows me to keep a detector close by no matter where my travel...

    Does anyones V3 work properly?

And to add to your post.... "And I agree, you should probably not buy something you may not understand. " And if you do buy it and see that it's a total albatross to you, please by all means put it on EBay or some other auction and don't clutter up the forums about not being able to use the V3...

    An old subject revisited...Battery life

While in England a few weeks ago, I tested the hours of use on a fully charged set of batteries. Total over 2 days, 11+ hours. I had the backlight off, TX boost off. Has anyone else experienced such a quick loss of power? I know with the electronics that are in the Vision, it does take more...

Infinium update....puzzling to say the least

Detecting at the beach, low tide, got a whisper of a signal. Upon digging it out, a corroded penny, and while lying on the sand, passing the coil over the coin, there was hardly a signal at all. Has anyone ever had this happen? This is the first time this has happened to me. I hear bobby-pins...

    The old Infinium keeps ticking

The gold is 14K, the silver is old as it's turned black like most silver will do when exposed to salt water for a long period...and an elephant charm...plus loads of bottle caps, hair pins. all in all a good day, my 7th day using the Infinium.....so far 5 rings, 3 gold 2 silver....

Garrett's 8 inch Infinium mono coil

I just purchased this coil and found out that Garrett DOESN'T make a coil cover for it. My supplier apparently checked with Garrett to confirm that. I found that to be odd and strange. Jim

    Second coil for the Infinium

Asking this question of the forum.....if one would get a second coil, which would be your favorite and why. I'm looking at the 8 inch mono...I have the stock 10x14 now and I like it for the beach but as I'll be doing some relic hunting, I think a smaller coil might be better. Thanks, Jim

Another two rings today. that's 3 in 2 days

Not bad when you consider I've had the unit for 4 days. The wedding band is 14K and the other, according to the better half as she thinks it's African amethyst...Can't see if it's silver or white gold as there's a ring guard on the inside. Are we having fun yet? You bet.....

All that glitters isn't gold but only when it's....

white gold and one silver.....The wedding band is 14K The other, i can't get the inscription on the inside because of a ring guard but my better half says it looks like African amethyst.....anyway that's 2 more rings, 3 in two days....plus a couple of hoop earrings and a few dollars in...
