    Diggers show on NatGeo

Well, looks like the show diggers has given our hobby a black eye in the world of archaeology. Last night I googled the show to see if any more episodes were going to be aired and found a string of negative publicity for the show. There is even a facebook page titled "Stop National Geographic...

    Garrett (Blue) Submersible Headphones

Who here has the submersible headphones? Are these pretty good to use on land too? How do they compare to the stock headphones that come with the AT Pro? Does anybody here hunt exclusively with them?

Its about a half acre of land that is covered in beautiful tall oak trees. The entire piece of property is littered with...

One of my customers (I'm a pharmacist) is senior technical manager at Garrett. I talked to him today and he said that the headphones that come with the AT Pro are land headphones. They are not submersible. BUT the connector IS submersible. Also FYI they are cranking these detectors out as fast...

Water detecting with the AT Pro

Yesterday I got on Garrett's website looking at the AT Pro and notice the picture of the guy metal detecting in the water all the way up to his armpits. Now his shoulders were dry and so was his head and ballcap. Now my question is, how is he recovering his targets. I have never hunted in the...

Need some input from you guys

I am selling my Ace 250. Don't yell at me yet though. I have two of them, but I am wanting to sell one of them so I can get the new AT Pro. I'm asking you guys what would be a fair price. I'm gonna list it on EBay and I would like some feedback on what you guys think. I am selling the following...

    Ace 250 and headphones

Does anyone use headphones with the Ace 250? I just don't see the point. If the machine has detected something it will either sound off or not right? Can you hear faint belltones? Am I missing something by not using them? Your thoughts please.

    If these coins could speak!

Well yesterday after work I went out for a little while to MD. In the town I live in the city has been busting up & removing the sidewalks and replacing them with new ones. Currently they are working on two blocks right now. So I started down the first block and found a couple of clad pennies...

A few weeks back there was a post about Sanborn maps. I got on it several times and loved it, very detailed info. Unfortunatly, the user name (sanborn) and pass (welcome) no longer works. Does anyone out there know of any other user name/passwords that'll get me on?
