    Deteknix huntmate pinpointer?

    Simplex ultra better than Simplex +

    I've seen where the newer simplex detectors are next generation. I wonder what changed? I did see the ultra has a few more menu options. I have not seen much about the Simplex lite it's less expensive. I was thinking about getting a Simplex + as they have a few more options than the lite model...

    Coinstrike help, information

    So, I picked up a coinstrike. Had a chance to play with it inside and was checking out target ID. If I wave a coin, dime penny or quarter under the coil it ID's correct to around 4 inches distance, ID around 34 to 36 on the meter and audio ID as coin. Any further distance, ID drops to 13 or 14...

    5.3 eclipse vs 6x10 DD eclipse

    In mild ground which coil would you prefer ? I always liked concentric coils, but already have a 6x10 DD, and was considering selling it and getting the 5.3, Wanting decent depth, separation, and most accurate pinpointing. In moderate trashy areas. Thanks for all input, James

    Anyone use the eclipse 950 coil much?

    Hello, I have a DFX that came with only the eclipse 6x10 DD coil. Anyone use the 950 coil? Thinking of picking one up to try. Whats everyone's opinion on the stock coil. Likes and dislikes. I do like the pinpointing of concentric coils. Thanks, James

    Had one of these a few years ago with the 8" spyder coil. If I remember right it was a pretty good detector, didn't use it much though. Got kind of a hankering to get another one if I find a cheapie. Anyone got any opinions on this detector? depth, discrimination , recovery speed etc...
